thoughts!

So here's what i'm thinking... Their are so many people out there that view Christianity as hypocritical and irrelevant. Can we that call ourselves followers of Jesus Christ change that?? Statistics out their show that between believes and non-believes, the way we live our lives don't vary much... We are still doing the same things; Cheating, stealing, lying, being hypocritical only to name a few. So then what sets us apart?? How do our lives reflect Jesus?? Can people see the face of God in our lives?? The term 'Christianity" is slowly becoming more and more watered down. What can we do to change that?? What can we do to change the way people look at our generation?? Another thing I have been thinking about lately is how much our generation has made their own Christianity. People take what they like about it, then add or take away whatever they feel... Are we doing this in our lives? Am i doing this in my life? It's a big question! Having a relationship with God is not saying just a prayer, then hoping God will put the odds in your favor. It's a commitment. A life style. We need to be reaching out to others everyday and showing love to everyone... Matthew 25:40 says, "The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of the least of these brothers, you did for me."

How much would it change our lives and the lives around us, if we really started to listen to God's voice to reach out to others...

Mark 11:22-26 says, "And Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive your sins."
